  • Ticket pricing & capacities
Artists set their own ticket price & minimum capacity on the platform. We find that artists generally charge around 50% more per ticket than a venue show. The most effective minimum capacities are generally between 30-60. Hosts can always add more tickets, but it's important to give them an achievable target. Please Note: All credit card processing fees, wire fees, misc. transaction fees, dues/fees to Performance Rights Organisations (PROs) such as APRA, ASCAP, BMI, and other collectiPopular

  • Payment & service fees
Parlour is a new kind of concert promoter. Instead of contracting with brick and mortar venues, our specialty is residential, municipal, and other non-traditional venues. Our 83/17 door deal is tried and true in the music industry. It means you will never get hit with additional fees or backend deductions - you will always know what you are making before you even confirm the gig! Your earnings per gig is equal to 83% of the tickets sold multiplied by the base ticket price. Parlour’s fee is equaSome readers
  • PA's & production
We think it's best to have a PA if you are playing outside or indoors to more than 50 people. If you need assistance in hiring a PA and/or sound engineer, we can help! We have a database of production managers and hire companies across the globe. We'll simply take their fee off at settlement. In all other instances, we'd suggest playing acoustic if possible. This will make your show intimate and a more engaging experience. If you have any other questions about the space, such as available pSome readers

If you’re running late or arriving early, contact your host (your gig details, including playing times and the Host's phone number, are available in your Dashboard) When you arrive ask your host where to set up and for somewhere to store your things. We’ve asked them to have a ‘Green Room’ available for you to warm up and relax in before you perform. Don’t be afraid to tell the host you’re readSome readers

  • Artist Booking & Cancellation Policy
Deposits In order to secure a date, hosts must pay a deposit, which is equal to 10 tickets. If the host is successful in selling the minimum required tickets, their deposit is returned. However if they're a little short, we'll use a portion of the deposit to make up the minimum capacity. Note: 83% of the deposit is paid in advance to the Artist to secure travel and hold the date. 17% of the deposit is retained by Parlour to keep the platform running smoothly and to ensure Artists hSome readers
  • Can I bring my friends?
It’s OK to bring along one friend to a Parlour Gig as another pair of hands and also for moral support. Although, as Parlour Gigs are private, and it's up to the host who is invited, you'll need to clear guests with them prior. Don’t rock up with a huge party of people, unless it's ok with the Host.Few readers

  • Host application currency conversion example💶💵💷💴
Parlour takes care of the complexity of currency conversions, so that artists can focus solely on where they want to play in the world, without having to worry about exchange rates and manual calculations. When you sign up for Parlour as an artist, you choose your home country. The currency of your ticket price is then determined based on that country. For example, if you're from the USA your currency will be USD, if you're from Great Britain your currency will be GBP, and so on. WhenFew readers
